Carolyn Faye Moore, 77

June 18, 1946 – September 17, 2023

New Albany – Carolyn Faye Hardin Moore, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born June 18, 1946 in New Albany to the late Jack and Etoy Gilliam Hardin. She was married to her children’s father for eighteen years and together they raised three daughters in a loving home. She was the owner and operator of Northside Grocery for most of her working life. She later married Jesse Moore of New Albany for thirty years, until his death. She enjoyed her friends at the Cohen House at Traceway Assisted Living and family visits and outings.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Haley Ehrig officiating. Burial will be at Vista Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Moore; her father, Jack Hardin and her mother, Etoy Gilliam Hardin.
She leaves behind her daughters, Penny Anderson, Regina Rahmel (Johnathan), and Robbie Parker (Jackie); her sister, Barbara Stout (Bobby); her seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
