TUPELO – Charles W. “Chaz” Montgomery was born on September 25, 1949, and died suddenly on June 3 doing one of the things he loved the most. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Montgomery, and parents, Ann and George Montgomery. He is survived by his 4 children, 2 daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren: Katy Montgomery; Ann Elizabeth Montgomery; Charles and Laura Montgomery and their children Ann Luckett, Cal, and Baxter; and Patrick Montgomery and Colleen Coveney and their children Betty and George Montgomery.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. James Catholic Church in Tupelo; time and date will be forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support the Dr. Betty Montgomery Endowed Scholarship at Loyola University in New Orleans.
