Edwin Earl Williams, 64, resident of New Albany, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo following an extended illness.

Per Mr. Williams request a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Williams was born April 30, 1958, in New Albany, MS to the late Howard and Mary Evelen Adair Williams. He was a graduate of W. P. Daniels Highschool and was married to his beloved wife on June 14, 1985, Kathy McKeown Williams, who survives. A hard-working man, Mr. Williams found his calling as a farmer for 43 years, where he was able to make an honest living out of what he loved to do.

A Christian and always willing to offer a hand, Mr. Williams was a true friend to all that knew him. Whether it was helping a neighbor or even fishing with his grandsons he always had a smile on his face. He had a welcoming personality and was always such a delight to be around. To know Mr. Williams is to have laughed or even shared a kind word with him. His family was his pride and joy. He knew faith never gives up, love never disappoints, and the love of his family never fails. Mr. Williams was a great friend, brother, husband, and dad, and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife of 37 years, memories will be shared by two sons, Chris Williams(Anna) and Ben Williams both of New Albany, one sister, Janet Reed(William) of New Albany, two grandchildren, James Riley and Hudson Greer Williams, and a host of family and friends.

He is also preceded in death by one sister, Doris Kasten.
