Madgie Mae Burleson “Madge” Curbow, 81

June 12, 1941 – June 2, 2023

AUBURN COMMUNITY – Madgie Mae Burleson “Madge” Curbow answered the Roll Call in Heaven on Friday evening, June 2, 2023 at NMMC in Tupelo. She was 81. The widow of James Curbow, who died in 1994, Madge was a bookkeeper for several firms over her lifetime but her most cherished job was being a horticulturist at Burleson Greenhouses in Shannon. Madge leaves behind her son, Mike Curbow and wife, Rita Hester Curbow and daughter, Kim Curbow McKee and her husband, Jay, the grandchildren and other loved family members.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with burial in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5PM-7PM on Monday at the Funeral Home. Condolences may be emailed to hollandfuneraldirectors@comcast.net.
