New Albany – Pamela Owen Dodds, 67, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at her residence.
She was born September 5, 1955 in New Albany to Enoch and Myrtle Gordon Owen. She was retired from Walgreens. She loved spending time with her two children and three grandchildren more than anything in this world . Some of her favorite times were the beach trips they’d all take together and the holidays when she had everyone all there together under one roof. She was the true definition of a hardworking Christian southern lady who always put God and her family above everything else.
Family was first and foremost in her life and she truly adored all of her family . From her parents , to her brothers , aunts and uncles , her nieces and nephews and cousins – she had a love like no other for all of her family . She loved celebrating their accomplishments and sharing special moments in their lives with them all .
Funeral services will be at 3:00p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Cole Owen officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Brown (Hunter) of Olive Branch; her son, Stuart Dodds (Leslie) of Saltillo; three grandchildren, Hadley Grace Brown, Mason Clark and Lydia Clark; two brothers, Ralph David Owen (Betty) of New Albany and Enoch Ray Owen of Tippah County; and a sister-in-law, Denise Owen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Robert Owen.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1:00p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
