New Albany-Robbie Jean Armstrong, 88, departed this life for her heavenly home on Thursday, March 16, 2023. She was born June 25, 1934, to John Robert and Lela Maude Anderson. She married the love of her life, Robert Kenneth Armstrong, and together they built their life and raised their three children. She worked in furniture for many until her retirement. She enjoyed bossing her children, watching TV, word search and coloring books, and bird watching. Above all else, she loved all her “babies”, grands and great grands. She was of Baptist faith.

Services for Mrs. Robbie will be Sunday, March 19, at 2:00p.m. at United Funeral Service with Dr. Jeff Lawrence officiating. A visitation will be held before the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00p.m. Burial will be at Vista Memorial Park.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Kay Hare (Danny Mack), two sons; Robert “Bobby” Armstrong Jr. (Betty Lynn) and Michael Armstrong (Susan Elizabeth), five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and one brother.
