New Albany Home & Garden Show moves downtown this year

Mark your calendars and grab your garden hats and gloves! The New Albany Home & Garden Show is moving downtown this year. We are “Rolling into Spring” at the Union County Master Gardeners’ 8th Annual New Albany Home and Garden Show on April 9, 2016 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Historic Downtown New Albany.

The 2015 model of the Home and Garden Show’s icon “Lady Estelle,” proudly adorned in ivy and elaeagnus.

“Garden Mama” Nellie Neal will broadcast her show on Supertalk MS from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. near the Courthouse Lawn. See the antique tractor parade on main street at 7:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.

Speakers will be in the Magnolia Civic Center beginning at 9:00 a.m.including horticulturist Gail Barton; Laurie Parker, author of “The Garden Alphabet”; Shannon McGee, DVM; and many others.

Join us at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for our “Cooking Divas” presentation at Sugarees. Tickets for the “Cooking Divas” are $5.00 each and will go on sale at the Magnolia Civic Center at 8:30 a.m. (First come, first served).
