Sandy and Nate, words cannot express the gratitude of The Philadelphia MB Church Senior Ministry for your allowing us to visit Magnolia Llama Farm on Wednesday, October 26. The trip proved to be such a great success for us all. Seniors commented how much they learned through your presentation and demonstrations.
I would personally like to thank you for allowing us to come.
I hope that in the very near future that the youth of our church are allowed the same privileges.
Thank you once again for accommodating us. It was truly a great experience!
Gratefully Yours,
Mary Jarrett and The Philadelphia MB Church
Original Article:
New Albany, MS- On October 26, members of Philadelphia MB Church and LOU ( Lafayette-Oxford-University) community arrived at Magnolia Knoll Llama Farm in a coach /tour bus to learn something about llamas.
Mary Jarret is a member of the Oxford Church and is coordinator of activities for senior members of the church and LOU community. Mary stated most of her group had never heard of a llama, much less touched one.
October, being their “traveling month” 42 members of the church chose to spend a couple of hours talking llamas, seeing llamas, viewing clothing made from llama fiber, and visiting the garden that llamas have a part in growing. They left at noon to lunch at Taylors.
