New Albany Elementary School celebrates Cinco de Mayo
On Friday, May 5th, the EL students grades K-2 at New Albany Elementary performed for their peers and parents in a special Cinco de Mayo program. Cinco de Mayo celebrates the victory of the Mexican Army at Puebla in 1862.
The school event was filled with music, elaborate costumes, and dancing! Following the program the students ate sopaipillas.
