Eisenhower to be topic of July Luncheon with Books

Luncheon with Books will be held Tuesday, July 18, at the Jennie Stephens Smith Library in New Albany.

Joe Marshall Davis, a New Albany attorney, will review Bret Baier’s book Three Days in January: Dwight Eisenhower’s Final Mission. The book focuses on the days between the Eisenhower farewell address January 17, and Kennedy’s inauguration January 20. Eisenhower was one of our greatest leaders. His farewell address has proven to be prophetic.
