Peggy Lou Grose Stamey, 60, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. She was born August 30, 1958 in Lafayette County to Katherine Joann Bishop Grose and the late Elmer Frank Grose. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Will Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Enterprise Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by her mother, Katherine Grose; two daughters, Charlie Jumper (Cody) and Brittney Hargett (Kevin); three sisters, Patricia Williams, Brenda Little and Annie Baker; two brothers, Travis Grose and Jeff Grose; four grandchildren, Angela Albino, Bentley West, Georgana Hargett and Jayden Jumper; and one great grandson, Justin Albino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Stamey; her father, Elmer Grose and a sister, Mary Pickens.

Pallbearers will be Cody Jumper, Kevin Hargett, Jacky Smith, George Nolley, Cody Williams, and Cade Albino. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Rodgers, Kenny Bagwell, and Bo Williams.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 from noon until service time at the funeral home.
