Biscuits & Jam Farmers’ Market to feature Cadillac Funk

“Cadillac Funk,” a blues band fronted by Andrew Yurkow, will provide the entertainment at the Biscuits & Jam Farmers Market, Saturday morning, July 4th.

Andrew “Cadillac Funk” Yurkow grew up in Indianola, in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. He formed the Cadillac Funk band in 2009. The band has built a strong following, and plays regularly at Rooster’s Blues House in Oxford, the Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale and other venues around the South.

The Biscuits & Jam Farmer’s Market is held each Saturday, 7:30 to 10:30 a.m, on the left bank of the Tallahatchie River, immediately downstream from the bridge that spans the Tallahatchie River in downtown New Albany. Fresh produce from nearby farms, unique handmade merchandise, free biscuits and jam provided by Sugarees Bakery and free coffee from AC’s Coffee House are featured each week.
