New Albany MS Frohns win beautification award

The 808 Oxford Loop home and lawn of Dr. and Mrs. Eric Frohn received the winter quarter Beautification Award from the City of New Albany.

Jill and Eric Frohn received the award Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 8 at their home.

The City of New Albany was represented at the presentation event by Sustainability Committee members Jolyn Cook and Sandy Shaddinger.

The First United Methodist Church on Bankhead Street in downtown New Albany received the quarterly Beautification Award for businesses and institutions.

The Sustainability Committee is funded by the New Albany Board of Aldermen and is charged with the general beautification of the city, especially through improving lawns and gardens. The quarterly Beautification Awards recognize outstanding examples of well-designed, well maintained landscapes.
