Green, green New Albany

Recent aerial photo downtown New Albany

There’s no real story here. It’s just a photo of what New Albany’s downtown area looks like from about 50 feet in the air near where East Bankhead and Main Street intersect. The photo was made with a wide-angle lens that makes the downtown area seem farther away but you might enlarge the photo as much as is practical and see what all you recognize.

Possibly the main impression is that New Albany and the surrounding area  apparently have many more trees than one tends to notice at ground level.
