Church kids get to visit with Sparky, other firefighters

The New Albany Fire Department visited New Birth Community Church’s trunk or treat this past Saturday and children got to meet Sparky the fire dog and get an up-close look at firefighting equipment.

“I think the expression on this child’s face says it all, and why we visit when we can,” Fire Chief Mark Whiteside said.
