Judge sets bail totaling $1,055,000 in Alpine murder case

Union County Justice Court Judge Chris Childers set bail bonds this morning (Wednesday) in the case of April Nickole Rodgers, who is charged with murder. She is charged in the shooting death Monday of Nathan Knight.

Judge Childers set bail at $1-million on the murder charge.

The judge set additional bail of $25,000 on the felony child endangerment charge, $25,000 on the charge of possession of illegal drugs with intent to sell, and $5,000 on the charge of felon in possession of a firearm.

Total bond, cash or property, of $1,055,000 would need to be posted for Rodgers to released from the Union County jail, where she has been held since Monday.
