Museum to host the 20th Annual Fossil Road Show June 10th

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks’ 20th annual Fossil Road Show will pull into New Albany on Saturday, June 10, 2023. This family fun day centered on science and history will be hosted by the Union County Heritage Museum, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

There will be a fossil talk at 11:00 a.m., and the museum will be packed with exhibits and a variety of interesting activities for all ages.

The always-popular geode cracker will be at the museum to amaze you with nature’s beauty. Bring your own fossil finds; experts will be on hand to ID your treasures.

This is always a popular event for the whole family. Come check out the 2023 Fossil Road Show and prepare to be amazed and entertained. As always, the Fossil Road Show is free to the public.
