Billy Gene Little, 92

Billy Gene Little, 92, of Belden, passed away peacefully at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo on May 24, 2024. Born in Mississippi on July 13, 1931, Billy was the cherished son of William Wiley Little and Beulah Bryant Little.



A dedicated car dealer by trade, Billy owned and operated Bill Little Auto Sales in Blue Springs and Bill Little Pontiac in Pontotoc, leaving a lasting legacy in the automotive industry.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Doris Ann Rowan Little, his devoted children Kathy Yarbrough Still (Neal) of Priceville, AL, Geannie Karen Little Nickels (Mark) of Belden, MS, and John William Little (Audrey) of Belden, MS. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Lauren Still, Mallory McDaniel (Jonathon), Ashley Still, Miranda McCraw (Jeremy), Marissa McDonald (Drew), and Bryant Nickels (McKenlie), and he adored his eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lindon Little, and a special Aunt, Ruby Greene, and her husband, Loyce.

Billy’s faith was an integral part of his life. He served as the music minister at Locust Hill Baptist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church and sang in a Quartet as a young man. His melodious voice and devotion to his church communities will be fondly remembered.

Beyond his professional and spiritual contributions, Billy had a passion for spending time with his family and grandchildren, and buying and selling antiques with his beloved wife, Ann. His love and dedication to his family were unwavering and a source of inspiration to all who knew him.

Services to honor Billy’s life will be held on May 26, 2024, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Tupelo. Visitation will commence at 2:00 P.M., followed by the service at 3:00 P.M. Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo is honored to serve the Little family during this time of need.

Billy Gene Little’s life was a testament to family, and dedication to his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. His memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to know him.
