Kathy Ann Haygood Greer, 63

January 26, 1961 – May 19, 2024

Kathy Ann Haygood Greer, 63, resident of Ripley, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Resthaven Health and Rehabilitation.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Ms. Greer will be at 11 AM Friday, May 24 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 Pm Thursday, May 23 and will continue from 9 AM to 11 AM Friday, May 24 at The Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery.

Born January 26, 1961, in Truman, Arkansas, Ms. Greer was the daughter of the late Noah and Geneva Graves Haygood, Jr. She received her education in the Truman Arkansas Public School System and was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant for 23 years before retiring. She will be remembered for being kindhearted, giving and simple. Hobbies included cooking, cleaning, gardening, making flower arrangements and taking care of her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew and loved her.

Loving memories will continue to be cherished by two daughter, Yolanda Garcia (Robert) of Ripley and April Taylor of Ashland, two brothers, Roger Haygood  and Chris Haygood, both of Corinth, eight grandchildren, Alexis, Aaliyah, Rhyan, Aiden, Luke, Blake, Whitney and Armani and two great grandchildren.
