Baptist Union County Hosts 2024 Back-to-School Health Fair -

In the cool and cloudy morning of Saturday, July 20, the parking area of Baptist Memorial Hospital Union County was filled with tents, emergency response vehicles, trailers and costumes. They were manned by hospital staff members, emergency responders and other Baptist community partners intent upon getting the local children off to the best possible start for the upcoming school year.

The setting was bright, colorful, and user friendly. There were school supplies, a variety of healthcare clinics, and health and safety information offerings designed to catch the attention of both youngsters and adults. There were goody bags, treats, games and entertainment.

As always, the Back to School Health Fair pulled together myriad resources and presented them in a convenient, attractive, setting for the benefit of community families. We are fortunate to have all of these participants working to support our community in so many ways.
