Mrs. Lucy Mae Wilson, 78, transitioned on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in Collierville, TN

Mrs. Lucy Mae Wilson was born on April 7, 1946, to the late Frenchie Lewis Martin and the late Rosie Lee Porter Martin, in Lewisburg, MS.  On Thursday, August 1, 2024, she transitioned at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in Collierville, TN.

Lucy Mae accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Mt. Gillian M.B. Church, Byhalia, MS.

Lucy Mae was a homemaker, who loved being around her family, shopping, talking on the phone, watching her favorite shows:  Wheel of Fortune and The Young & Restless; and her favorite football team the San Francisco 49ers.

Lucy Mae leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband: Calvin Earl Wilson of Byhalia, MS; two sons: James Wilson (Lakita) of Chester, VA, and Rodenick Wilson of Byhalia, MS; daughter: Patricia Lee (Roscoe) of Byhalia, MS; brother-in-law: Eddie Lee Duncan of Byhalia, MS; five sisters-in-law:  Ida Mae Martin of Memphis, TN,  Ether Mae Martin of Byhalia, MS, Margie King of Senatobia, MS, Maurine Duncan of Byhalia, MS and “Pone” King of Tate County, MS; thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Lucy Mae was preceded in death by her loving parents: Frenchie Lewis Martin and Rosie Lee Porter Martin; one son: Willie Earl Wilson; three brothers: Willie Lewis Martin, George Martin and Arthur Lee Martin; two sisters: Beatrice Martin Bennett (Samuel) and Fannie Lee Akins; and six brothers-in-law.

Visitation will held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Services will held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at New Mt. Gillian M.B. Church, 774 Stonewall Road, Byhalia, MS  38611

Burial will take place at New Mt. Gillian M.B. Church Cemetery, 70 Watson Cemetery Road, Byhalia, MS 38611
