Andrew was born October 11, 1994, in Tupelo, MS to Gary Wayne Rolison, Jr, and Alisa Craft-Rolison, both of Ripley. Growing up, Andrew found a love for being outdoors, as he was an active boy scout for eight years and found much joy in playing football. He was a 2013 graduate of Ripley High School, where he played the Baritone in the Tiger Band, always cheering on the Ripley Tigers. After graduation, Andrew met the love of his life, Natalie Duncan, who he married on May 28, 2022. For two and a half years, they loved and lived life to its fullest and he always provided all he could for Natalie, as he loved her more than life itself. After Natalie’s father passed, Andrew stepped right in, loving her hard, being a shoulder for her to cry on, and filling that void that she had lost
Love is patient, Love is kind, Love was Andrew. Even at a young age he had a big heart and was always so loving. He had such a personal connection with his family, and found most peace being around his grandmother, Carolyn. She held a special place in his heart, as she always guided him through any struggles, and lead him by example. As he was the only boy out of three girls, Andrew had such a bond with his sisters. They looked out for one another and could rely on each other through anything. Whether it was spending time at home with Natalie, playing on his gaming console, as he was very talented in that and made a multitude of friends from around the world, or being out with friends and family, Andrew always had a smile on his face. He had a larger-than-life personality and could light up any room he was in. Andrew touched so many lives, as he was caring, kind to others, and had a heart of gold.
Today our hearts break and we feel lost, but we know that God has a bigger plan. We put our trust in him and are reminded of the verse, Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”. Although Andrew’s life was short, he made an impact all those he touched, and we long for the day, that we will get to see him again, and spend eternity together in Heaven.
In addition to the love of his life, Natalie Duncan Rolison, those left to cherish his memories include his parents, Gary Wayne Rolison, Jr. (Rachel), and Alisa Craft Rolison (Bo Vuncannon), his sisters, Melissa Rolison, Anna Kate Rolison, and Rachel Rolison Guerrero (Jose), his grandparents, Carolyn Craft, Alton Craft, Martha Gavin Rolison, Boyd and Judy Duncan, his great grandparents, Jack and Faye Rolison, his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Duncan, brothers in law, Dylan Duncan (Madison), and Eli Duncan, sister-in-law, Caitlyn Duncan, his niece, Wrenlee Duncan, and another on the way, to arrive in November, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
