David Glenn Palmer, 57

May 24, 1968 – September 15, 2025

David Glenn Palmer, age 57, of Fulton, passed away at his home on September 15, 2025. He was born on May 24, 1968, in Illinois to the late Robert Palmer and Reta DeVaughn Palmer.



David proudly served his country in both the United States Marines and the Army National Guard, completing a combined 27 years of dedicated military service. A true patriot, he carried the values of loyalty, strength, and perseverance into every aspect of his life. He was also active in veterans’ organizations, serving as a former District Commander of the VFW. He was a member of the VFW, AMVETS, and First Baptist Church in Tremont.

Beyond his service, David loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching movies and basketball, camping, and cheering passionately for Auburn football. His presence brought joy, laughter, and unwavering support to those around him.

He is survived by his mother, Reta Palmer; his loving wife, Victoria Frederick Palmer; his children, Miranda Hope (Bronson) of Mantachie, Candace Dobbins (Virgil) of Mantachie, Tamara Floyd (Jimmy) of Guntown, and Bradley Palmer (Madison) of Fulton; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Kent of Booneville, and Selena Perkins (Corey) of Fulton; his sister, Kim Davis (Pee Wee) of Fulton; his brothers, Donny Palmer (Rena) of Golden, MS, and Josh Palmer (Ashley) of Fulton; and his mother-in-law, Linda Franks Frederick. He also leaves behind 12 beloved grandchildren, with one more expected soon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Palmer; his grandparents, Cliff and Ruth DeVaughn and Will and Vera Palmer; his father-in-law, Richard Frederick, Sr.; and his niece, Ashley Palmer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Tremont Baptist Church in Tremont, MS, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Rick Bradley and Rev. Randy Spencer will officiate. Members of the VFW will serve as pallbearers, with Donny Palmer and Billy Garrison serving as honorary pallbearers.
