“God open up Heaven doors and called Thomas home,” Yes! We loved him, but God loved him more.” Edward was born October 10, 1946 to Thomas and Ruth Scruggs.

Preceeding Edward in death is his parents Thomas and Ruth Scrugg, and Willie Bishop Thomas.

Thomas Edward leave to cherish his memories to his wife, Susie Scruggs, his sone Patrick Bates, a brother Robert Scruggs, grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
