Martha Lorene Foley, 93

New Albany – Martha Lorene Gilless Foley, 93, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born in Luxura, Arkansas on November 23, 1930 to Joe and May Lewis Gilless. She was a member of Bethlehem Church of New Albany.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Bethlehem Church of New Albany with Dr. Jeff Lawrence officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery in Cotton Plant, MS.

She is survived by her step-son, Dr. Gerald Foley (Barbara) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; two granddaughters; five great grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Gilless; five nieces; and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Ralph E. Leland, Walter Jack Blair and David Leroy Foley; her brothers, J.B. James Everet, Joseph Floyd, and Alvin Eugene Gilless; three sisters, Josephine Iness, Thelma Watkins and Katherine Wells.
