Frankie died in her sleep in the early morning hours of Thursday, October 3, 2024 after a period of declining health. Frankie was born in Lee County to the late June Tucker and Della Albritton Tucker on September 9, 1944, having just celebrated her 80th birthday last month. Frankie lived a life of service to God, family and her community. A devout, born-again Christian, Frankie spent many active years at the former Wheeler’s Chapel Church in the Tater Hills Community where she and Jay were co-pastors. She daily read and studied the Bible, spending her days praying and praising God and listening to Southern gospel music. She was a “mother hen” to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frankie was an active participant in the Joy Camp Ministries her last 7 years.
