Christy Timmons, 46

TUPELO – Christy Timmons died Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her residence in Tupelo. She was 46 years old. She was born in Tupelo, MS on January 31, 1978 to the late Isaac Thomas Timmons, Jr. and Betty Sue Cheatham Timmons. She graduated from Saltillo High School where her athletic abilities were superior. A MVP softball player and a Lady Tiger Tennis standout, she also ran track. She made friends easily and often was the life of the party



Christy loved cooking, numerous arts and crafts and spending time with her siblings and their children. She most enjoyed seeing the babies of the family. She grew up attending Oak Hill United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in the Sade M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo. Visitation will be from 2 PM to service time at the funeral home Sunday only. A private family committal will take place at Kirkville Cemetery. She is survived by her siblings, Isaac “Tommy” Timmons (Frances) of Guntown, Tammy Timmons Stone of Guntown, Cindy Kulovitz (William) of Tupelo, and Debbie Sanders (Rodger) of Guntown; nieces and nephews, William Kulovitz (Nikki), Sgt. Matthew Kulovitz (Olympia), Ashlee Kulovitz, Autumn Stone, Madison Inmon, Noah Timmons (Reagan), Jacob Timmons, Luke Timmons, Jackson Millican, and Abby Ella Russell, Carrie and Leslie Cantrell; great nieces and nephews, Haze Stone, Abigail Kulovitz, Mattie Tate Inmon, and Gatlin Stone; her aunt, Theresa Coleman (Tom) Isaac, and uncles, Charles Cheatham and James Cheatham; and other cousins and relatives and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Betty Cheatham Timmons; her grandparents, Isaac Timmons, Sr. and Grace Cox Timmons of Cleveland, MS, and Elmer and Myrl Ozbirn Cheatham of Kirkville, MS.

Pallbearers will be Sgt. Matthew Kulovitz, William Kulovitz, Noah Timmons, Jacob Timmons, Luke Timmons, and Jackson Millican. Honorary pallbearer will be William Kulovitz.
