Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service on Friday October 25, 2024, at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care. Burial will follow in Gerizim Cemetery in the Myrtle Community.

Born December 29, 1968, in New Albany, Ms. Tammy was the daughter of the late James and Betty Smith Kimbrell. She received her education from Myrtle High School and was employed in the furniture industry throughout most of her life. A Christian and lifelong native of New Albany, Ms. Tammy was someone you never forgot. She was known for her bright smile, fun sense of humor, and outgoing personality, who never met a stranger.

Ms. Tammy was always the life of the party and embraced every second she had. All it took was for her favorite song, Purple Rain, to be playing, and she would show up and show out, “busting a move” for all to enjoy, as she was Prince’s number one fan. Outdoors fishing, going out to eat Mexican food, or being with friends and family at a crawfish boil, she always knew how to make others smile with her kindness and welcoming spirit. Family meant the most, especially her grandchildren, who she loved spending time with any and every opportunity she had. Although her time here on earth was short, our lives are forever enriched, bright, joyous, and blessed because Ms. Tammy lived fifty-five years amongst us, believing in us and loving us.

Those left to cherish her legacy include two daughters, Chrystal Stinson, and Melissa Salas, two sons, Scotty Stinson, and Randy Stinson, five sisters, Melissa Maharrey (Tim), Cynthia Galloway, Tina Galloway, Mary Green, and Michelle Kimbrell, three brothers, Charles Galloway, Matt Galloway, and Mark Galloway, eleven grandchildren, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Smith Kimbrell, and her biological father, Butch Galloway.
