Late this evening NEMiss.News received reports of possible shootings in New Albany and in Blue Springs.

New Albany Police Chief Chris Robertson has informed NEMiss.News that the NAPD is currently investigating an incident on Hickory Street that involved gunplay. Hickory St. is in the Glenfield area.

Chief Robertson reports that there are no deaths related to gunfire in the city. Nor has anyone been reported injured as of the time of this report (1:15 am November 24th).

NEMiss.News has confirmed no information relating to a possible shooting in Blue Springs.
