Patricia Ann Butler Mason, 65

November 25, 1959 – September 14, 2025

Plantersville- Patricia shed her mortal coil and stepped into eternity and into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, September 14, 2025. We rejoice that she is no longer suffering and is surrounded by perfect love. She is no longer bound by her human frailty, but at perfect peace with no pain. Though we will miss her, we do not mourn as those who have no hope. We will see her again.

Pat was born on November 25, 1959, in Columbus, Georgia to Sybil Louis Butler and Dennis Coy Butler. She grew up in Mantachie, where she also attended Mantachie High School. She was a member of Shannon Church of Jesus Christ in Shannon but had not been able to attend due to bad health. Before her health declined, she enjoyed cooking for her family, painting, tending to her garden, and enjoying life. She loved to laugh and act silly. Even in the nursing home in her last days she would laugh and pick on the staff.

Pat could not wait to be with Jesus and her mother again. We rejoice in knowing she is with them and healed.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Mason Denton of Saltillo; “favorite son-in-law”, Allen Denton of Saltillo; granddaughter, Adriana Wilkins (Candice) of Mantachie; brother, Dennis Butler (Terri) of Amory; and sister, Wanda Butler of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sybil and Dennis Butler; brother, Scotty Butler; and grandparents.

A graveside service will be at Fawn Grove Cemetery.
