Nikki Fair, 30

March 8, 2025 – September 11, 1994

Tupelo – Nikki (Janis Nicole) Fair, a beloved stay at home mom and wife with a heart of gold, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 8, 2025 at the age of 30. She was born on September 11, 1994 in Amory, MS to Jeffery Duane Ivy and Judy Ann Ivy (Flanagan). She was a 2013 graduate of Shannon High School where she touched many lives and had many lifelong friendships that she adored. At an early age, Nikki professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Oak Valley Christian Church where she would often attend with her family.

She married the love of her life, Sam Fair, on July 27, 2017 and resided in Tupelo, MS. This union was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Marlee Zayne Fair, on September 18, 2018. Nikki was Marlee’s biggest cheerleader and took pride in being a stay at home mother for her. Now Marlee’s guardian angel, Nikki would fight the world if it meant Marlee and Sam were happy.

Outside of being a mother, Nikki enjoyed crafting, spending time with friends and family, picking on her sister endlessly, and was an avid car enthusiast. She was no stranger to making you laugh, arguing her points, offering a helping hand, and a good Taco Bell run with friends. She would truly take the shirt off her back for anyone that needed it. She was a member of her car club, Unmentioned Misfits, and her video game streaming community, Strafe Nation. She loved her community and circle of friends dearly and leaves behind a Nikki sized hole in all of their hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Fair, and their daughter, Marlee Fair (Tupelo, MS), her parents, Jeff and Judy Ivy (Tupelo, MS), her favorite sister, Quitley Manuel, her brother in law, John Manuel (New Albany, MS) and her tootie, Ivy Kate Lee, her brother, Larry Joe “Joey” Dunaway (Tupelo, MS), her grandmother, Anne Ivy (Tupelo, MS), Her mother-in-law, Rebecca Gann (Shannon, MS), and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins that all adored her.

She was welcomed with open arms by her grandmother, June Flanagan, her grandfather, Cecil Ivy Jr., her grandmother, Joyce Ivy, her uncles Harold Armstrong, Fred Durham, Roger Hufstedler, Donnie White, Eddy Caldwell, David Ivy,Larry Marlow, George Flanagan, Billy Joe Flanagan, and her aunts Jeanie Hufstedler and Kristy Ivy. Nikki’s arms are now filled with one baby she and her husband were never blessed to meet.

Days before her rest, Nikki shared a final wish of embarrassing her newly married sister, Quitley. In lieu of tears and sorrow and in the spirit of doing what Nikki did best, I have to grant her final wish. So in the words of my sister, “Quitley has a mustache”. Nikki would want us to grieve for just a moment, but then celebrate and hug each other a little tighter with laughter in our hearts.

Her visitation will be held at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo, MS on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm and Wednesday ,March 12, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm with celebration of life and graveside services to follow. Expressions of love and sympathy may be posted at hollandfuneraldirectors.com.
