Jakob Edward Kindt, 37

April 9, 1987  –  March 10, 2025

TUPELO – -A wonderful husband, dad, son, brother and friend to thousands, Jakob Edward Kindt died in a helicopter accident on Monday, March 10, 2025 in Madison County, Mississippi. Jakob was a master flight paramedic with University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. His base was Columbus where he and two other colleagues were returning after a mission at UMMC. Jakob was the husband of Emily Kindt of Tupelo, the dad of Matthew and Luke, the son of Eddie and Tina Kindt of Mantachie, and brother of Molly Kindt Collock, and a master paramedic, his chosen profession which brought him so much fulfillment and purpose. An active member of Hope Church where he was a spiritual leader, Jakob was devoted to God, country, family and his fellowman as he lived his entire young life in service to God and others.



A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Hope Church. Private burial will follow in Endville Cemetery in Pontotoc Co. Visitation will be from 4 PM – 7 PM Monday, March 17, 2025. There will be no visitation prior to the service on Tuesday.
