January 24, 1941 – April 2, 2025

Booker T. Patton, Jr., known by his many friends and family as “B.T.”,  returned to the open arms of his Creator at the Cedars Healthcare Center the Leeper Green House in Tupelo, Mississippi, surrounded by the love of his family on April 2, 2025.

B.T. has no more worriers and no more pain of the earthly world – he has received everlasting life.

The first child of two born to the union of his parents Booker T. Patton, Sr. and Leona Arnold Patton in Nettleton, Mississippi, B.T. was a graduate of Plantersville Public School System. He was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

His passions were spending quality time with his family, watching old western movies and cartoons, listening to music, detailing his cars, and taking pride in his appearance.

Booker T. Patton worked hard in life. He was a former employee of Pernell Pride in Tupelo, Mississippi. He later moved to Flint, Michigan, and began working at General Motors where he retired in 1988.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories forever his four adult children; Kathryn Patton of Cordova, Tennessee, Booker T. Patton, III of Tupelo, Mississippi, Rondia Foster of Belden, Mississippi, Sandra Patton of Flint, Michigan. Two sisters; Kathryn Patton White of Saltillo, Mississippi, Mary Jean Wicks of Columbus, Mississippi and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

At the request of the family, the life celebrations service will be held privately.
