Linda Marcum Swader, 68

October 9, 1956 – April 10, 2025

Linda Joyce Marcum Swader, 68, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on April 10, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice.

She was born on October 9, 1956, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late John Grady Marcum and Laura Mae Kizziah.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Brandy Bogan (Joel) of Clifton Park, New York; her sons, Barry Travis (Roberta) of Moulton, Alabama, and Eric Vining (Julia) of Cullman, Alabama; her grandchildren, Cory Price, Coty Price, Lainey Travis, Evan Vining, Joshua Bogan, Matthew Bogan, Elizabeth Bogan, Austin Chavez and Emma Chavez; and her great-grandchildren, Rowan Price, Sophia Price, and Theodore Catchpole.

Linda had a deep love for the simple joys in life—fishing, attending car shows, and treasure hunting at flea markets and yard sales. But above all, her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, who were truly the center of her world.

She was preceded in death by her parents and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A private burial service will be held at Parker Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Friday, April 11, 2025.
