Ronald Lee Tedford, 69

March 31, 1956 – April 13, 2025

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:5

After a life well lived, Mr. Ronald Lee Tedford, 69, departed this life peacefully Sunday night, April 13, 2025, at Pontotoc Health and Rehab following a brief illness.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Born March 31, 1956, in Pontotoc, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Berry “B. J.” and Thelma Jo Prater Tedford. He received his education from Pontotoc High School and was a self-employed carpenter all of his life. He was a believer in hard work, laying brick with Steve Tutor out of Pontotoc for over twenty years, always offering a helping hand where he could and serving the community well.

A saved Christian, Mr. Lee was an easy-going man who found much joy in the simple thing’s life had to offer. Favorite pastimes included listening to classic rock and roll, watching football, and keeping up with Nascar. Weather it was time spent with his family, or simply soaking up the Tranquil views while sitting on the porch, Mr. Lee was always grateful for the beauty that surrounded him. Although we were not ready to say goodbye, we can’t help but rejoice for the time we had together and know God’s grace will be sufficient until we can be reunited once again. We consider it a blessing that the Lord blessed us with sixty-nine wonderful years with our loving partner, wonderful dad, and true friend, Ronald Lee Tedford.

Those left to carry on his legacy include his faithful partner of 20 years, Mrs. Tina Jamison, three children, Kaysi Robbins (Jason), Christopher Tedford, and Russell Tedford, six bonus children, Audrey Love, Elizabeth Jamison, Megan Jamison, Jacob Jamison, Pearl Jamison, Rheanne Champaue, three sisters, Holly Dowdy, Krystal Evans, and Pauline Leyland (Erene), one brother, Neal Tedford (Paulette), six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee is also preceded in death by two sisters, Sherry Collins and Mary Tedford, and one brother, Jack Tedford.
