Mrs. Mary was born into this world on July 21, 1945, in Marvell Arkansas to the late Wiley and Mary Frances O’Neal Smith. She was a graduate of Marvell High School, and proudly owned and operated her own cleaning business for many years. She served people well, gaining the trust of many during her career, always treating others with respect and kindness.

A Christian and mother, Mrs. Mary loved sharing time with her family and preparing meals for them, like her famous fried chicken that has been described as “the best you ever put in your mouth.” During her free time, she could often be found watching her favorite game shows, always beating the slots at the casino and enjoying all to country classics from Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, and leaves a wonderful legacy on all the many people that’s came to love and know her during her time here on earth.

Those left to cherish her memories include one son, Vinson Brewer (Wanda) of New Albany, one sister, Dena Belodeau(Greg) of Houston, TX., one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
