Emily Hope Tzib, 20

Emily Hope Tzib of Ecru, MS, passed away on June 24, 2025. She was born in New Albany, MS, on April 6, 2005. Emily brought light and joy to every life she touched.

Emily worked with devotion and compassion at the Mississippi Veterans Home and Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She had an admirable, charismatic, personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Emily had a unique gift, she always made people feel deeply loved and seen. Her kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength were unmatched. While she was never shaken by strangers, she carried the emotions of those she loved with grace and care.

She is survived by her loving parents, Rebecca Dobbs Tzib and Leondro Tzib; her sister, Alyssa Tzib; her brother Elmer Tzib; her grandfather, Kenneth Dobbs; her aunt, Melinda Dobbs; her uncle, Billy Dobbs; and her cousins, Nicholas Juarez, Nevaeh Juarez, Javier Juarez, Gabriel Juarez, William Juarez, Nichole Arnold, Andrew Chaney, and Tyler Laney. Emily also shared deep bonds with her chosen family;

Kevin Martin, Evelyn Sanchez, Kim Carter, Valeria Sanchez, John Asher Young, and Ashley and Wesley McCain, all of whom cherished her like their own.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Brenda Dobbs, and Aurora Tzib; her grandfather, Andrew Tzib; and her dearest friend Halie Tanner.

Services to honor her life will be Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with Bro. Brandon Murphree officiating. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, all times will be at United Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Kevin Martin, John Asher Young, Wesley McCain, Andrew Chaney, Tyler Laney, and Christian Najera. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Martin and John Asher Young.

Emily’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those she touched. Her love was pure, her smile unforgettable, and her presence irreplaceable.
