Doc Shelton officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 8 PM on Thursday evening, September 25, 2025, and will continue from 9 AM until service time on Friday at Ripley Funeral Home. Burial and graveside services will follow in Roger’s Chapel Cemetery, following the funeral service.

Born July 6, 1947, in Tippah County, Mr. Paul was the son of the late Mansel Hall Sr. and Willie Cleo Heavener Hall. He received his education from Falkner High School before beginning what would become a lifetime defined by honesty, hard work, and quiet perseverance. From his early days stocking shelves at Griffin Supermarket to his many years of dedicated service with Tippah Wholesale, Oil Dri, Wurlitzer, Leedo Corporation, Bluff City, and Cross City Wood Products, Paul’s work ethic was unmatched. He later became a trusted and respected employee with FCA Corporation, where he remained until his well-earned retirement at the remarkable age of 76. To those who knew him, his devotion to his work was more than just a job — it was a reflection of his determination to provide faithfully for the family he cherished so dearly.

A Christian and devoted member of Rogers Chapel, Paul lived a life marked not by extravagance but by joy in life’s simplest blessings. He loved a good bargain and was happiest when traveling to auctions and sales across the community. A natural-born trader, Paul could strike a deal on nearly anything — cars, knives, guns, cows, horse, and anything in between. The art of the trade was not about possession but about connection, and his CB handle, “Hatchie Trader,” became a name known far and wide among his friends on the road.

At home, Paul found peace in the things that made him feel most himself: watching his favorite westerns like Gunsmoke, following stock car races with enthusiasm, and spending evenings talking on the phone with his children and friends. He delighted in keeping his family informed, especially with daily weather updates and the latest happenings. His voice on the other end of the line was a steady reminder of his love, his care, and his constant presence in their lives.

Above all, Paul will be remembered as a man of steadfast integrity, a loyal and true friend to many, and a father whose unwavering devotion shaped the lives of his children in ways words cannot fully express. His was a life defined by kindness, humility, laughter, and love — a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. To have known Paul was to have known a man who gave his best to his work, his word, and his family — a true friend, a devoted father, and a blessing to all who walked beside him.

Memories will continue to be cherished by two daughters, Gale Hall Rogers (Kenny), and April White, along with a honorary daughter, Felicia Wiginton, two sons, Glen Hall, and Keith Hall (Angela), one brother, Ronnie Hall (Becky), seven grandchildren, Jonathan Rogers, Erin Martindale (Thomas), Hannah Rogers (Johnathan York), Matthew Hall (Kortni), Kenslie Hall, Brylee Thomas, and Bowen White, six great grandchildren, Jack Wyse, Weston York, Lucas Martindale, Cayden Cox, Leo Hall, and Lydia Hall, one aunt, Audrey Mathis, one niece, Christie Hall, and a wide circle of cousins, family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one great grandchild, Ashton Wyse.
