Leslie Fowler Teeter, 76

March 12, 1949 – October 20, 2025

Leslie Fowler Teeter, 76, of Tupelo, formerly of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice, surrounded by love.

Born on March 12, 1949, in Kilgore, Texas, to Lester and Ethelyn Waggoner Fowler, Leslie lived a life filled with laughter, creativity, and deep compassion for others. She was married for 16 wonderful years to her husband and best friend, Ron Teeter, who cherished her adventurous spirit and unwavering kindness.

Leslie was the proud mother of two sons, John Allen III and Timothy McKinley, who were the lights of her life. Her joy only grew with her grandchildren — Henry Allen, Sloane Allen, Amanda McKinley, and Katie McKinley McGowen — and her great-grandson, James McGowen, who brought her endless delight.

To know Leslie was to be touched by her warmth. She had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether she was sharing a story, crafting her beautiful southwestern jewelry, or offering a word of encouragement, Leslie radiated kindness and joy. She found beauty in small moments and always made room in her heart for others.

A former commercial real estate agent, Leslie carried her integrity and creativity into every part of her life. She approached both work and relationships with passion, optimism, and care.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband, Ron; her sons, John Allen III and his wife, Quinn Allen of San Diego, California, and Timothy McKinley of Patuxent, Maryland; her brother, Les Fowler, and her sister and brother-in-law, Sue Fowler-Troyan and Bill Troyan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ethelyn Fowler.

Leslie’s legacy lives on through the family she adored and the countless lives she brightened along the way. Though she will be deeply missed, her generous heart and joyful spirit will forever remain with those who knew and loved her.
