Today, Wednesday November 12, 2025, I am in need from my fellow citizens. There was a drive by shooting that occurred on Broad St. in New Albany yesterday in the early morning hours. There were several adults and children in the residence that was targeted, not to mention the neighbors that were next door in their residence and vehicles. To say it was anything but a 100% miracle that no one was hit would be an understatement. I have no other explanation other than our God intervened. The amount of spent casings that were recovered and the holes in the house going all the way through has been hard to comprehend.
To the people who are responsible for this heinous act and incredible disregard for life, know this….. I’m coming. I believe it is pretty well known how I specifically feel about gun crimes in New Albany. I refuse to accept that these are just the times we’re in. I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS HERE! I reached out to numerous agencies for assistance in bringing a swift conclusion to this inexcusable act.
One of the unique factors to this case is, that at this point, I’ve had little cooperation from the intended victims. So I’m asking the public for their help in providing information to help solve this and bring these dangerous individuals to justice. I plan to personally send them to prison.
To the citizens of Northside, expect to see a significant police presence!
If you have any information please call the New Albany Police Department at 662-534-2222 or Crime Stoppers of North Mississippi at 1-800-773-8477
