Board approves new mobile home, tiny home and camper ordinance

(Timestamp 0:50). There were no public commenters on the proposed ordinance for mobile homes, tiny homes, and campers. The board voted to repeal the current ordinances on mobile homes and portable homes and replace it with the new ordinance. Board Attorney Chandler Rogers explained that the repealed ordinances will remain in effect for 30 days, at which time the new ordinance will take effect.

(Timestamp 3:15). The board discussed quotes for striping a ten-mile stretch of CR 47 at Martintown Industrial Park. The first quote was from Riverside Traffic Systems for $30,000; the second was from Tri-State Paving for $36,000. The board accepted the lower quote from Riverside.

(Timestamp 11:05). The board also reviewed quotes for outfitting four vehicles for the Sheriff’s Department. The first quote was from Down South for $44,245.27, and the second was from Laurel Communications for $52,050.79. The board accepted the lower bid.

The board then went into executive session and will reconvene on Monday, December 1, 2025.
