Courtney Bowles, 48

February 4, 1977 – December 17, 2025

Pontotoc-Courtney Pamela Bowles, 48, after a brief illness, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Born in Memphis on February 4, 1977. She spent her youth in the Memphis area graduating from Bolton High School in Arlington, TN in 1995, later attending the University of Memphis. Courtney was a resident of Pontotoc for the last 20 plus years, spending most of her days being a housewife and stay at home mom. She loved her family dearly. One of her greatest joys was being CiCi to her grandson, Maverick. Courtney loved life, enjoyed watching “True Crime” TV shows, playing games, trivia, taking care of others, and going on vacation with her family.

Courtney’s Celebration of life will be held at 6 PM Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Holland Funeral Directors, 5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, Ms. 38801 (662 840 5000)

Survivors include her children; Caitlin Robison (Cole) of Saltillo, Gregory Bowles (Deanna) of Pontotoc, and Joseph Bowles of Pontotoc; beloved grandson, Maverick Robison; mother, Vicki James of Bartlett, TN; brother, Bo Holder of Bartlett, TN; aunt Pam (Chad) Hamrick; ex-husband, Scott Bowles and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Danny James; grandparents, Alvin and Josephine Harvey.
