Ann Coffey, 76

Ann Coffey, age 76, known lovingly by all who knew her as a beacon of kindness and warmth, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025,at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Born Raye Ann Rushing on September 12, 1949, in Corinth, MS, she was the cherished only child of Doyle Ray Rushing and Grace Geraldine Kemp Rushing, both of whom she now joins in eternal rest.



Ann’s life was marked by a profound dedication to her family, a passion that shone through her every action and word. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her beloved husband, Larry Coffey, and her dear children, Kelley Robinson Mapp (Mickey), Chris Watkins (Amber), and Phil Watkins (Brandy). Her family circle widened with the addition of her bonus children, Gina Warren (Chuck), Todd Coffey, Shane Coffey (Suzanne), and Trent Coffey (Tracie), each of whom she embraced with open arms and an open heart.

The joy of Ann’s life was undoubtedly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She reveled in the roles of grandmother and great-grandmother to Josh Robinson (Tabitha), Tanner Robinson (Holly), Reagan Murry (Weston), Colton Watkins, Sara Beth Sicks (Jeremiah), Rush Watkins, Jacob Mapp, her bonus grands, Autin Anderson (McKinley), Blake Anderson (Katy), Abigail Anderson, Ashley Coffey, Anna Grace Coffey, Hayden Hill (Alissa), Lydia Coffey, Cole Coffey, Mason Coffey, Courtney Coffey, and Lindsey Coffey, as well as her honorary grands, Kinsley Robinson, Storm Robinson, and Georgia Rainn Robinson. Her great-grandchildren, Harley Robinson, Harper Robinson, Aubrey Jade Robinson, Avery Robinson, Allie Claire Robinson, Sawyer Brooke Murry, Langston Murry, Ruthie May Sicks, Parker Hollis Anderson, and Collins Anderson, Kelsey Coffey, and Kinsley Eccles. added even more sparkle to her life.

Ann’s professional journey was a testament to her work ethic and commitment to service. She retired from Kelly Services Staffing Agency after years of dedicated employment, leaving behind a trail of colleagues who admired her for her professionalism and caring demeanor.

Ann was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. Her faith as a Christian was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life’s trials and triumphs. Ann’s love for her family was paralleled only by her love for travel. An avid traveler, she cherished the opportunity to explore new places with her friends and family. She also had a special place in her heart for her Aunt in Tennessee, whom she visited frequently until her aunt’s passing earlier this year.

Ann was also an incredibly talented seamstress, a skill she put to loving use by creating several beautiful wedding gowns for members of her family. Her hands were rarely still, as she poured her love and passion into every stitch.

Those who knew Ann would describe her as loving, passionate, and kind. These words, while accurate, only scratch the surface of a woman whose generosity of spirit and boundless love touched countless lives. Ann Coffey’s legacy is one of unwavering love, selfless service, and the joy she found in the happiness of others. Her memory will be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Services to honor her life will be Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 12:00 noon at United Funeral Service with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Dr. Jeff Lawrence will officiate. Burial will be at Enterprise Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Robinson, Tanner Robinson, Rush Watkins, Colton Watkins, Jacob

Mapp, Weston Murry, Jeremiah Sicks, Blake Anderson, Austin Anderson, Cole Coffey, Mason Coffey, and Storm Robinson.
