Terry Dee Hayes, 71

October 10, 1956 – December 10, 2025 

Terry Dee Hayes, 71, of Pontotoc, passed away peacefully at his home on December 10, 2025.

Terry was born in Alabama on October 10, 1956, to the late Dee Hayes and Margie Green Hayes. He was last employed as the owner of a game room in Hamilton, Alabama.

A man of simple joys and strong faith, Terry was a member of the Church of God. He found great pleasure in rebuilding toys, spending time at home, and especially playing with his beloved dog, Cutter, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Lena Wester; his sisters, Sherry Jolly, Rhonda Keith, and Jada Green; and his brothers, Sisco Hayes and Sammy Hayes.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Avery Templeton; his sister, Lena Faye Hayes; and his loyal companion, Cutter.

No public services are planned at this time.
