Sylvester “Seal” Braham, 70
June 16, 1955 – December 31, 2025
Sylvester “Seal” Braham was born in Lee County Mississippi on June 16, 1955, one of ten children born to the union of Edward and Willie Lee Billups Braham.
Seal attended Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church and attended the George Washington Carver High School. Later in life he joined the United States Army where he received his honorable discharge. Upon returning home from serving his country he began working at Stanley until retiring. He was a member of Emmanuel Masonic Lodge #720.
Seal loved his family and spending quality time with each one. He was a friend to many just to name a few Rev. Greg Pegues and Jimmy Carol Harris. His love for music was often shown in more ways than one, always played music sitting outside under his carport where he enjoyed entertaining friends and family and having great conversation and working on cars in the yard.
Seal was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Margaret Agnew, Johnnie Trimble
Seal leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his adult children; LeShonda (Damien) Carr, Talvis (Amber) Clifton, Rolando Clifton all of Tupelo, Mississippi, seven sibling; Walter (Eva) Braham, Ezzie (Meridah) Braham, James Braham, Charles (Elizabeth) Braham all of Tupelo, Mississippi, Eddie Ruff of Memphis, Tennessee, Willie Braham and Naomi Page both from Tupelo, Mississippi, ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
