Debbie Holbrook-Harlow, 66
September 26, 1959 – January 18, 2026
Shannon – Debbie Holbrook-Harlow passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, after a long illness. She has gone to be with the Lord she loved so dearly. Born in Mesa, Arizona, Debbie was the daughter of John and Ruth Davis. She shared more than 20 loving years with her husband, Ray Harlow of Shannon, Mississippi. Together they built a life rooted in love, family, and faith. Throughout her life, she was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and selfless nature. She always put others first and did the very best she could to care for her family and friends. Debbie had a remarkable gift for gardening and truly possessed a “green thumb,” able to make even a rock seem to sprout. She loved sitting on her porch watching the birds, listening to music, and working on puzzles. An amazing cook, she found joy in preparing meals and gathering with family and friends. Debbie could light up a room simply by walking into it, and she will be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Ray Harlow; her three daughters, Melissa Boatman (Andy) of Wasilla, Alaska, Leanne Teal (Larry) of Douglasville, Georgia, and Terrie Gaskill of Shannon, Mississippi; her sisters, Mille Bykoff of Baldwyn and Teresa Murphree (Mark) of Saltillo, Mississippi; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth Davis, and her brothers, Steve Davis and John Davis. Debbie’s kindness, warmth, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association. Holland Funeral Directors are honored to be serving their friends. (662-840-5000)
