Amanda Joyce Gibbons Drown Hill, 78

July 14, 1947 – January 21, 2026

Amanda Joyce Gibbons Drown Hill, 78, resident of Ripley, passed away peacefully on January 21,2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

A Graveside Service is planned for 11 AM Wednesday, January 28 at Tippah Memorial Gardens as long as the weather permits.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her beloved sister, Bobbye LaBarreare (Ed), her grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Those preceded in death include her parents, Rosman and Carrie Duncan Gibbons, her husbands, Albert John Drown and Leland Hill, a son, Ty Drown, sisters, Mildred Clark and Blanche McCarey, brothers, Terry Gibbons and Jerry Gibbons.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, any donations to bae forwarded to The American Cancer Society in Mrs. Hill’s name.
