Mooreville – Mr. Gregory Allen Dickerson, age 54, died Wednesday evening, March 25, 2026 at his home in Mooreville, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 16, 1972 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the marital union of William “Pete” Dickerson and Virginia Long Dickerson. He was a high school graduate and worked many years as a handyman who could do almost anything. He was a loving father, brother, and son. He was an avid Florida Gators fan as well as NASCAR and Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed all things outdoors, especially magnet fishing. He spent his childhood and adult life as a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2026 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with his cousin Ricky Sanderford officiating. Private burial will be in Gilvo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time Sunday only.

Survivors include his companion, Sandy Lyles of Mooreville; sons, Cody Dickerson and Tucker Allen Dickerson, both of Mooreville; daughter Adrianna Dickerson (Evan) of Blue Springs; step-daughters Christy Hawkins of Smithville, Tara Beasley and Kayla Beasley, both of Blue Springs, and Mariann Lyles of Mooreville; brother Terry Dickerson of Mooreville; 13 grandchildren, Kaiden, Jenna, Carlin, Miles, Brantley, Emma, Paislei, Madisyn, Emily, Kaylee Ann, Wilder, Meaghan, and Lexi; 6 great-grandchildren; mother of Adrianna, Jennifer Dickerson; and his step-dad, David Langford of Saltillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; late wife and mother of Cody, Michelle Dickerson; brother, Chuck Dickerson.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Leslie, Brad Maxey, Mike Miles, Johnny Martin, Evan Bullock and Cody Dickerson. Honorary pallbearers will be his son Tucker and grandson Kaiden.
