Vincent Lee Davis, 58

July 25, 1967 – March 24, 2026

Vincent Lee Davis, age 58, departed this earthly life and entered into his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Tippah County.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Vincent will be cremated, and no memorial service is scheduled at this time. The family appreciates the thoughts and prayers extended to them during this difficult time.

Born on July 25, 1967, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, Mr. Vincent was the son of Mrs. Reta Jones Templeton and the late Tony William Davis. He received his education from Maben High School and spent his working years in construction, operating heavy equipment—a job he took great pride in.

A Christian and Southern Baptist, Mr. Vincent was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. From a young age, he was known for carrying around his favorite boom box, always enjoying good music and the comfort it brought him. In his later years, he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, spending countless hours gardening, landscaping, and taking pride in making things look just right. He enjoyed hunting, collecting antiques, and tinkering with different projects, always staying busy with his hands. Cooking was another passion of his, as he loved trying new dishes and sharing good meals with those around him. He also faithfully kept up with the Ole Miss Rebels, rarely missing a chance to watch a game.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, Mr. Vincent leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Reta and Gerald Templeton, he is survived by his son, Houston Lee Howard Davis; two sisters, Toneta Davis and Merrie Kechnie; and two brothers, Tony Davis, Jr. and Mark Templeton.

He was preceded in death by his father.
