Kenneth Bruce Roberts, 73
September 1, 1951 – March 27, 2026
Tupelo-Kenneth Bruce Roberts, 73, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family, after a life spent doing exactly what he loved.
Bruce was a very diligent worker. His passion for auto parts began in high school at Auto Supply of Corinth, MS. He then moved on to Tupelo, where he purchased C&G Auto Parts. Bruce later sold his store to Union Auto Parts, where he served as manager before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, Big Daddy, and friend to all. He never met a stranger, was one to carry on long conversations and storytelling with friends and strangers and lived life large everyday.
Bruce is survived by his wife Sandy Roberts of Tupelo, MS.; One daughter Tina Roberts Gregory of Burnsville, Ms: Two sons, Buck Rushing of Henderson, TN and Bruce Rushing of Tupelo, MS; Four Grandchildren, Brittany Lewis of Henderson, TN. Victoria Brigley of Tupelo, MS, Kendall Rushing of Henderson, TN, and Madison Gregory of Burnsville; Four Brothers, Larry Roberts, Bobby Roberts (Martha), Joe Roberts (Tommy Nell) and David Roberts (Kim) all of Corinth, MS; a best friend Greg O Quinn
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Allan and Lillie Louise Roberts, and one sister-in-law- Linda Roberts
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 PM Monday, March 30, 2026 in the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Bro. James Newell will officiate. Bruce’s family would love for family and friends to share stories of Bruce’s life during the service. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29. 2026 from 2 PM-4PM and resume on Monday at 2 PM-until service time at Holland Funeral Directors-which is honored to be serving their friends.
Pallbearers will include Greg O’Quinn, Ted Wood, Phil Cochran, Ricky Pate, Chris Waddle, and Jeff Burns. Honorary Pallbearers include Gary Stone, Wayne Hardy, Roy Montgomery, and D. W. Hopkins.
